Drifter_eye was on his favorite spot when he is on patrol. The old building gave him a clear view of the area especially tonight was a full moon. He often guards this place which was used to be his home. Ever since he decided to join the (TDC) team he never missed a chance to continue on protecting the place where he grows up. This used to be a peaceful and happy place before the disaster happened.
His thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a loud scream of a girl “H-E-L-P!” He then looks towards where the scream was coming from. He saw a young girl running for her dear life but from what? He then saw five werewolves chasing after her. The girl has a good lead but the wolves are gaining speed.
The scene looked a bit odd to him because he wasn’t able to see a pack this big chasing a small helpless victim. But he had no time to ponder on this he hurriedly went to the girl and he then find a safe place for her to hide. He saw a sewer top near to where they are standing. He thought it would be a good hiding spot for them. He knows too well that he is no match for five werewolves. So Drifter_eye together with the girl descended into the dark smelly sewer. And just moments after he was able to place the sewer top back on the wolves arrived at the street above them. The girl and Drifter_eye can perfectly see that the wolves got confused to where the girl had gone. When Drifter_eye was sure that the wolves are far from them he said “I know that werewolves have sensitive sense of smell and that they can smell you even from miles away, that why I thought this sewer is a perfect hiding spot because your scent will be masked with a much stronger foul smell of the sewer.” And when he felt that it is safe for them to leave he said “Let’s go it is safe now the wolves are gone and we really can’t stay long here, the smell’s really strong even for me…huwaarrrkkk…uhh” he vomited.
Drifter_eye then tried to contact his co-leagues Ricky and Gretzel to fetch them but there was no answer. Luckily he was too quick and they were able to lose the wolves.
Now breathless he decided that it is safe for them to make a stop and rest for a while. He then began to ask the girl the thing that’s been bothering him “how did you get into this mess where did you came from?” He now faced the girl waiting for her to reply but no answer came from her, she just smirked at him then acted like she was about to throw up. A bit concerned about the girl Drifter_eye asked “are you ok? What’s wrong?”
“Argh!” came from the girl. She looked like she’s having a seizure but slow Drifter_eye realized that what he saved wasn’t a girl and definitely wasn’t human at all… It was a carnivorous alien!
This was the reason why five wolves were chasing her. The werewolves were probably only protecting their territory.
A huge slimy ugly alien stand in front of him with very long fangs about to eat him when all of a sudden he heard a loud bang and there was a figure slowly forming on top of the alien; a guy appeared in front of him standing on top of the alien girl. “Not again!” the guy said looking at Drifter_eye. “please don’t tell my mom she’ll get mad, this is not where I intended to teleport to” He said talking to Drifter_eye as if they knew each other for a long time “I always get things mixed up when I’m not really familiar with the place I want to teleport to. And I always end up in some awkward places but this should be an…” He suddenly stops as if only realizing that Drifter_eye have a confused I don’t know you kind of look. “Oh sorry call me Cesar for short or Owl for shorter” his arms outstretch for a friendly shake. Drifter_eye thankful for Cesar’s sudden appearance he shook his hands “Drifter_eye” he replied.
“EEEEWWWW” Cesar just realized what he is standing on. “What’s this?” But the alien seemed to recover and started to move, luckily Cesar has quick reflexes he was able to hit the alien with the bat his holding that immediately knock the alien out. Hurriedly stepping away from the alien “what happened?” Drifter_eye explained what happened and they both decided they should leave before the werewolves come. Cesar was exhausted from his last teleport he has only enough power to teleport himself but not wanting to leave Drifter_eye alone he decided to walk with him. Drifter_eye was still trying to contact his co-league Ricky and Gretzel but he still unable to get an answer from any of them he begun to worry.
“Ahm, by the way you have an incredible powers that makes you half human like me, is that what they call Rogueport?” Drifter_eye
“Teleport! Is this how I am able to go from place to place. I was about to meet a friend when I accidentally bump into you. I am not really familiar with that place so I end up teleporting here at Scar City. I didn’t really intended to show up on top of an alien but luckily I did or you’ll on her menu tonight” Owl
Not long from both Owl and Drifter_eye started walking they saw a mobile jet flying low and were about to land not far from where they are. Both thankful they started to run towards where the jet landed. Turned out it was the vehicle of Art, Drifter_eye’s good friend even before he joined the (TDC) team. Art was standing at the opening of the mobile jet. His arms outstretch happy to see an old friend. “How are you?” he ask Drifter_eye. “Good and by the looks of it you did better!” Drifter_eye replied impressively, Art still beaming said “Nah! It’s not much I guess this is where exactly I should be”
Art lead the way inside the jet he wasn’t flying the jet alone he got somebody with him. “This is my friend Avelino” art said touching Avelino’s shoulder, he was busy pushing buttons on the machine muttering to himself, Art give some instructions to Avelino where he followed but with a hint of hesitation.
“This is Drifter_eye and his friend???” Art was looking to a now so comfortable Owl seating on his chair while whistling.
“Oh! Me? I’m Owl!” answered Owl not waiting for Drifter_eye to introduce him.
“He saved my life Art” Drifter_eye said seriously
“And thus that gave him the right to be captain of the ship?” Art replied obviously annoyed of somebody seating on the captain’s chair.
Drifter_eye shrugged and even Avelino stopped what his doing to look at Owl. Owl suddenly stops his whistling completely aware of the eyes staring at him.
“Oh were you talking to me?” He said while standing immediately clearing the way for Art to sit. “Sorry” he muttered.
“Hmp!” Art said raising an eyebrow.
”Wow, you really did well Art, this executive look suits you well my friend. This is probably the result of you being a businessman in all in the past huh?” Drifter_eye
Both Drifter_eye and Owl thought that Art would take the captain’s chair but instead after cleaning the mess Owl made, Art moved away from the chair and Avelino sit on it.
“hehe…this is actually Avelino’s ship and he is only teaching me how to drive it.” Art
As it turned out Avelino was the captain of the ship and Art was his assistant in training.
Art now slightly blushing tries not to meet Drifter_eye’s gaze, Art was about to say something but he cut it off…
“We need to find my co-leagues Art, they might be in trouble” Drifter_eye said after the awkward moment. “Sure! Show us the way…” replied Art but looking at Avelino’s reaction. Art held its breath for some time when Avelino didn’t show any sign of answering but then he nodded, Art was able to breathe easily.
All four then headed out towards Ricky and Gretzel’s location with Drifter_eye’s help in direction.
“It’s not that far let’s head North…” Drifter_eye
“What’s the name of the place?” Avelino
“Red Sand” Drifter_eye
“I see I’ve been there once I know where it is and we can use my jet’s satellite map” Avelino
“Re…Red Sand!” Owl
All eyes are on him “that’s the place where I’m supposed to be meeting my friend that’s where I am supposed to go” Owl
